I.  Research Consultany Services

(1) The conduct of contract/research consultancy  refers to research and related services on a wide range of socio-economic subjects that is offered by the income generation enterprise of FSS for the benefit of client organizations seeking the service. Examples of the research subjects on which the contract/consultancy service is rendered include, but are not limited to:  environment and climate change, land, poverty reduction, food insecurity, gender, youth and development, urbanization and industrialization, migration, substance abuse, etc.

(2) Offering short-term training in social research methods and development related fields on will be offered on demand by potential client organizations. Under the research category, the enterprise also provides tailor made training services on the following specific areas:

• Quantitative and Qualitative Social Research Methods
• Baseline study
• Rapid Assessment
• Research Report Writing

II. The renting out of extra rooms in its office building to organizations that are similar to FSS will be determined on the basis of the availability of non-utilized space in the organization’s office building located on TsehafeTizaz Afework St., House No 534, Woreda 7, Arada Sub-city, Addis Ababa.
